Ethics and transparency
We carry out our activities within the selected areas of support responsibly and economically, with regard to their social, inclusive, and environmental impact in accordance with legal regulations and adopted ethical principles.
Open Access Certificate
Transparency is a key aspect for us and a natural part of our work, which is also evidenced by the re-acquired Certificate for Open Access to the Publication of Information on Activities in 2024 in accordance with the Code of a Transparent Corporate Foundation and Endowment Fund.
This was created by the Association of Corporate Foundations to enhance the transparency of the third-sector environment, of which our foundation is also a member.
The foundation's budget consists of:
- Share of tax paid (2 %) allocated by Kia Slovakia s. r. o.
- Share of tax paid (2 %) allocated from individuals
- gift from Kia Slovakia s. r. o.
Percentage of funds from the tax allocation (2 %) used for public benefit purposes and for the administration of the foundation in 2025
Total amount of the share of paid tax received in 2024 and used in 2025: 2 717 442,20 €.
Details on the use of the allocated tax share by individual projects were published on May 18, 2026, in Commercial Bulletin 93/2026.
Used for public benefit purposes (grants and projects) 2 634 267,98 €, which represents 96,94 % of the total allocation. The foundation's administration (management) was allocated 83 174,22 €, so 3,06 %. Out of this amount, the sum spent on promoting a public interest purpose, specifically for printing the annual report, was 119,62 €, which represents 0,004 % from the total allocation.
